It was on January 31, 1992, that GOD did show Elder Coachman the first vision of the ministry and of a church. During the next five years Elder Coachman, who was than Minister Coachman, would be trained by various Pastors that he sat under. The first of many Pastors was Pastor Phil Hobson; under Pastor Hobson , Elder Coachman , was being groomed as how a minister should present himself to GOD's people. Elder F.L. Mack was sole contributor to Elder Coachman leadership training . Under Elder Mack , Elder Coachman was taught many things about the doctrine of the church and about the forming of ministries and auxiliaries in the church. Evangelist & Pastor Dennis Morrison was a great influence on the preaching of the gospel and on how to organize a ministry and a church. Pastor Morrison talent was that he knew how to raise funds for the church. One of his other talent was that he knew how to form and organize a church from the ground up. Finally, there was Pastor Willie K. Williams. Pastor Williams had taught Elder Coachman about the Pastor's love for the sheep of the flock. Elder Coachman learned how to pastor a congregation with the love of Christ, peace of mind , understanding and a forgiving heart; This would come in handy later on in the ministry. While in that same five year period Elder Coachman had alot of trials, temptation, heartaches , pain and ups & downs.On August 27, 1997, GOD gave Elder Coachman the full vision of the name for the ministry. Through this vision the name of the ministry was to be called " The Holy Deliverance Ministries and Church." During the infancy of the ministry , it struggled to survive,but by the grace of GOD the ministry did survive. During that time of struggle, Elder Coachman had suffered the home going of his mother and father, which was a spiritual knock down but not a knock out. On June 27, 1998 Elder Coachman was ordained as an Elder of the church. He served under Elder John D. Young Jr. , where he continue to grow in the ministry and learn many new ideas on forming and organizing the church. In August 2000 , GOD moved Elder Coachman to sit under Bishop Lee J. Gunn until present day. Bishop Gunn has been a focal point in the ministry for Elder Coachman. He has taught Elder Coachman about the political procedured of the church, As well as the duties of the Bishop , Overseer , Elder , minister and any other position in the church. The Holy Deliverance Ministries and Church has since birth other ministries to assist in the saving of souls. Holy Deliverance Ministries and church Productions , C- MAN audio and video tape ministry ,ARC children outreach ministry, Heavenly Bound Retirement Center, Heavenly Delight Restaurant and Nikey's kids corner just to name a few of the newly birth ministries. The history of the Ministry may not be a long one but it has been a fruitful one. We can not conclude without giving thanks and praise to GOD, whom has made all this which has been done posible.
