We see Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews, came to Jesus in conversation. As he came by night, Because he did not want to be seen by anyone going to Jesus, which is like most of us today do not want anyone to know we are saved or born again. Jesus dealt with Nicodemus on this very issue,that night. Jesus told Nicodemus that he must be born again or he could not enter into heaven or see GOD. Nicodemus was both sad and confused on this matter. He did not understand what Jesus was saying to him. Nicodemus continue to ask questions. I am sure that, just like Nicodemus , there is someone out there reading this lesson and you are wondering how can someone as old as I am be born again? Well rest a sure you can be born again by accepting Jesus as your lord and savior. My brothers and sisters there is a process that we must go through , in order to be born again.Just like Nicodemus, some of you are thinking in the natural but this is a spritual process; Which is why we cannot understand this process. Jesus made this so simple that a no one should error. Jesus tells us that we should just believed on him and all that he did for us. John 3:16 says " FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON,THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. My brothers and sisters that is how simple it is to be born again. I now have few question for you. Are you sick and tired of being sick of your life the wayit is? Are you ready to live saved? Do you belive that Jesus died for you and all of us? What are you waiting for? Don't you want joy unspeakable joy? Then it is time for a change.
What is born again? Born again is a Spiritual re-birth. You actually go through a new beginning or re-birth; where there is a change that comes about you.
How does this re- birth occurs?This re-birth occurs as Roman 10:9 saids, "That if thou confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath rasied him from the dead, thou shall be saved. You see how easy it is to be born again or saved as some people call it. Being born is as simple as a true confession from your mouth and true belief in your heart that Jesus died, was buried and that God raised him from the dead; All that was done for you..
Why is being born again so important? Being born again is important because Jesus has told us in John 3:3,5 and 7 that we should be born again because we will not see the kingdom of God without being so. It also allows you to be an example of how Jesus is in control of your life and that you have submitted total control to him.
Conclusion : There are many other questions that could have been ask but these are just a few that most new christian ask when they are coming to the Lord.
