In today's lesson we want to share what God his revealed to us on the subject matter of Hell. After talking to a few people on this subject, It has come to my attention that there are some people that just don't believe that Hell is real or even exsist as the bible descibes. Well my friends , I want to tell you that Hell is real and according to Isaiah 5:14 she has enlarged herself and continue to get larger. As we read this chapter we find that some of God's people are still falling for the traps and snares the devil is setting for them. In order to keep from falling , in the snares of the devil; We must ask ourselves what is in hell that would make us want to go there or even do the things we do that will later lead us to hell. Well we know no one wants to go to hell , but let's take a look at what's in Hell. We find in 2 Peter2:4 that the Devil and his fallen angels or demons are in hell and they are just eager to see us come there too. We are fighting a war, in which, we must believe that hell is real; Because if we don't believe hell is real than we want believe that the inhabitants of hell are real; which will leave us into a confused state of mind. Revelations 20:10 also tells us that the beast and false prohpets will have there part in hell as well and will be tormented day and night, forever. Matthew 10:28 tells us that death and the grave are also in hell . Mark 9:44, Luke16:23 and Galations 5:19-21 all tells us that fire, worm, torment, and sin are all going to be in hell. By now alot of you are asking the question " why is it important that I believe that hell is real and what does this have to do with me?" The devil wants you to believe that hell is not real so that he can have room to operate in your life and lead you astray from GOD like he did the angels in heaven, as well as Adam in Genesis3:4-6 . This has now become a life or death decision for some of you out there. This is why it is so important for you to know the truth about hell. The devil's plan is to keep you busy so you want have a relationship with GOD and consequently you find yourself out of followship with GOD. I am convince that most people would rather hear teaching on prosperity, good health and heavenly rewards but we must be taught on the things in hell and what will happen to you if you continue to live in a sinful life style. I believe that the reason that most people don't believe that hell is real is because we have de-sensitized the image of what hell is all about. It seems to me that GOD thought this subject of hell to be an important matter that we can find some referance to hell in just about the entire bible. It certainly seems obvious that GOD had no intentions for anyone of his people to go to hell , he gave us away to keep from going to hell. |
